Kehewin Cree Nation, as Host Nation, invites Treaty leadership, Elders, legal advisors, and interested participants to attend a leadership-focused summit at the River Cree Resort & Casino addressing the ongoing jurisdictional and constitutional implications of the 1930 Natural Resources Transfer Agreement (NRTA).

This gathering is designed primarily for Chiefs and leadership to engage in strategic dialogue, collective analysis, and coordinated direction concerning lands, waters, and resource authority within Treaty territories. The NRTA continues to shape federal and provincial actions affecting Treaty Nations, and meaningful leadership engagement is essential to clarify jurisdiction, strengthen Treaty implementation, and consider unified pathways forward.

While leadership participation is central to the summit, the forum remains open to those with a direct interest in Treaty governance and resource jurisdiction.
