As the year comes to an end, the team at the Office of the Treaty Commissioner extends warm wishes to all across the Treaty territories for a happy holiday season.

The winter offers a time to slow down, rest, and gather with friends, family, and community.

Winter has been a season of reflection and storytelling – reminding us who we are, where we come from, and our shared responsibilities. Through stories, we strengthen our understanding, pass on knowledge, and live the Treaties that guide our relationships to one another and the land.

May your holidays provide a space for rest, gratitude, and connection.

The office will be closed at noon Friday, Dec. 19, 2025 and will reopen Jan. 6, 2026.
