DESCRIPTION:Love Medicine\, curated by Métis art historian Dr. Michelle McGeough\, aims to create a space of recognition and community\, offering an artistic embrace in response to the historical traumas inflicted by the settler nation-state on 2Spirit/Indigiqueer bodies. \nThis exhibition is founded on the belief that love\, expressed through artistic acts\, is a powerful force for healing and affirmation. DESCRIPTION:FNUniv’s Indigenous Language Program will host the Anihšināpēmowin (Saulteaux) Language Camp and the Dakota-Nakota-Lakota Language Camp\, which are designed to bring together participants\, Elders\, Knowledge Keepers\, language speakers\, and community supporters. The camps aim to create a learning environment where participants can learn from one another\, fostering a deeper connection to their language\, culture\, and community. \nThe family camps will offer language learning\, cultural workshops\, land-based and community-based teachings\, and wellness supports.
