Rock Your Roots - Walk for Reconciliation Saskatoon

The Rock Your Roots: Walk for Reconciliation takes place on Fri, June 20, ahead of National Indigenous Peoples Day. 

We start at Victoria Park in Saskatoon (606 Spadina Cres W). The walk honours Residential School Survivors and invites community to show up and demonstrate their commitment to Truth and Reconciliation. "Rock your roots" by wearing the cultural regalia of your ancestors or carrying your nation's flag. Or WEAR ORANGE to honour the Survivors.

10am Participants assemble for the walk
10:30am Walk begins (40 min - 60 min route that proceeds along the river. Along the walk, cultural performers are stationed to enrich the walk and showcase inclusion and diversity in the city.)
11:45am Walk ends at "Reconciliation Circle" in Victoria Park where there is a grand entry, program and activities hosted by Reconciliation Saskatoon
12pm - 3pm Programming and activities in the park
