3rd Annual Orange Shirt Day Run/Walk

The 3rd Annual Orange Shirt Day Run/Walk in Saskatoon to honour our ancestors who did not survive the Residential school era; and simultaneously showing support and solidarity for the survivors who fight everyday for healing and justice. This event aims to raise funds for the Orangeshirtday.org; local grassroots movements here in Saskatoon and the ongoing promotion and support of Indigenous athletes in Saskatchewan.
The event is a trail run that takes place on the beautiful Meewasin trail, winding through Victoria park and adjacent parks, rolling alongside the mighty Saskatchewan river.
The start and finish line will be located at the “The Coming Spring”, monument in Victoria park and includes three distances of 5km & 10km and an Elder & Kids walk/stroll/run of 2.15km.
