Treaty 4 Parade

The File Hills Qu’Appelle Tribal Council, in partnership with the Town of Fort Qu’Appelle, invites all nations, community members, and organizations to participate in the annual Treaty 4 Parade. Held as part of the annual Treaty 4 Gathering commemorating the signing of Treaty 4 on September 15, 1874, this event brings the community together to showcase creativity, culture, and unity.
This year’s parade theme is “SUSTAINABILITY.” Participants are encouraged to share their vision of sustainability—maintaining and protecting resources, systems, knowledge, and ways of life to support communities today while ensuring they remain strong for future generations.
